Swasthya Ayurveda & Wellness is a doctor-led Ayurveda clinic and wellness spa in Kannur, Kerala, caring for guests for over 15 years. We have two centres: our main clinic at Thottada and a women-only Ayurveda treatment and postnatal centre at Kakkad.
Is Swasthya an Ayurveda clinic or a spa?
Both. Every visit starts with a free consultation with our BAMS Ayurveda physician, who suggests the right therapy for you. Alongside relaxing massages, we offer doctor-guided Ayurveda treatments for back pain, weight loss, skin and hair care and postnatal care.
Who are your Ayurveda doctors?
Our doctors are qualified BAMS Ayurveda physicians. Dr Madhurima and Dr Athira are our chief physicians at Thottada and Dr Adhithya is our Ayurveda physician at Kakkad. A doctor consultation is free with every therapy.
What Ayurveda treatments do you offer besides massage?
We offer Panchakarma, Ayurvedic treatment for back, neck and spine pain, weight loss and inch loss programmes, Ayurveda cosmetology for facials, hair care, pigmentation and warts, pre-bridal packages, Karkidaka Chikitsa in the monsoon and postnatal care for new mothers.
Can I stay for Ayurveda treatment?
Yes, at our women-only Kakkad centre, which offers stay-in care for new mothers and women's weight loss programmes. Our Thottada clinic offers day treatments, so you can come for your therapy and go home the same day.
Do you have a women-only Ayurveda centre?
Yes. Swasthya Ayurveda Treatment & Postnatal Centre on Kakkad-Pallipuram Road, Kakkad Vayal, is only for women. It is open daily 8 AM–6 PM, with our Ayurveda doctor available all day.
Where is Swasthya located in Kannur?
Our main Ayurveda clinic is on JTS-Kuruva Road, Thottada, about 5 km from Kannur town, opposite Dinesh Curry Powder near Kanhira Vayanasala. Our women-only centre is on Kakkad-Pallipuram Road, near Amritha Vidyalayam, Kakkad Vayal.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free parking is available at both our Thottada and Kakkad centres.
Do you welcome tourists and foreign guests?
Yes, tourists and foreign guests are welcome. Our team speaks Malayalam, English and Hindi. Our doctor explains your therapy before you begin.
Will a male or female therapist attend me?
At Swasthya, we follow a gender-based service approach. Male therapists attend to male clients and female therapists attend to female clients for all standard and senior therapist massage services. All expert-level therapeutic treatments are provided exclusively by our highly experienced male therapist, ensuring professional care and specialized expertise.
Which payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, UPI and debit or credit cards at both centres.
Do you offer massage gift vouchers in Kannur?
Yes. Pay for the massage and we'll send you a gift voucher with a code. Give it to someone you love to book at our Thottada clinic. For ladies, special Me-Time packages are available at our women-only Kakkad centre. Call 8606000026.
How do I book an appointment?
Call 8606000026 to book at either centre. Thottada is open daily 8 AM–8 PM and Kakkad daily 8 AM–6 PM. Booking ahead helps us keep your preferred time. If you need to cancel, please call at least 3 hours before.
