What is Ayurveda cosmetology?

It is beauty care for skin and hair based on Ayurveda. Our cosmetology doctors treat the root cause with natural herbs, oils, therapies and, when needed, internal medicines.

Is the cosmetology doctor consultation free?

Yes. The consultation is free with any therapy at our Thottada centre.

Which Ayurveda facial is right for my skin?

Our doctor checks your skin type and concern first. Kumkumadi suits dull or uneven skin, Njavara suits dry skin and Anti-Tan suits sun tan.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?

Most people come once every 4–6 weeks. There is no downtime, so you can go back to work the same day.

Is warts and skin tag removal painful?

The area is numbed first, so most people feel little or no pain. It is a quick procedure done by our cosmetology doctor.

Will wart removal leave a mark?

The spot forms a small scab that usually falls off in one to two weeks. A tiny light mark may remain. Following the aftercare advice helps it heal well.

Can warts come back?

Warts are caused by a virus, so new ones can sometimes appear. Our doctor will guide you on care to lower this chance.

How many sessions do I need for pigmentation or pimples?

It depends on your skin. Our doctor will tell you after the first check-up.

What is included in the Ayurveda hair spa?

A doctor consultation, herbal oil head massage, herbal hair pack, scalp steam with herbal wash and Kesha Dhoopanam, all in 75 minutes.

Can Ayurveda help with hair fall?

Yes. Our hair fall treatment course combines scalp therapies like Thalapothichil and Nasyam with internal medicines when needed. Results take regular sessions and patience.

Are these treatments for men too?

Yes. Our cosmetology treatments at Thottada are open to men and women. Breast Toner Therapy and Stretch Mark Care are Only For Women.

Can I have these treatments during pregnancy?

Please tell our doctor if you are pregnant. Some facials and therapies are changed or avoided during pregnancy and our doctor will guide you on what is safe.

What are your timings?

We are open daily 8 AM – 8 PM. Cosmetology doctor hours are 10 AM – 4 PM.
